In brief we aim to inform, enthuse and excite medical undergraduates about a career in surgery. Becoming a surgeon is challenging and competitive, but very rewarding. Preparation is key, and we aim to support BSMS students considering a surgical career by:
•Holding regular local events such as workshops, lectures and seminars.
•Providing up-to-date information about preparing for such a career.
•Encouraging participation in national courses, conferences and competitions to help inform career choices.
Our contact details are available so please do get in touch with any questions or suggestions you may have.
We hope to see you at one of our events soon.
